Quartier Éphémère, the nonprofit organization that manages Fonderie Darling, is seeking your generous contributions during its annual fundraising campaign to strengthen the activities of its main venue, Fonderie Darling, a unique visual arts centre in Canada.
For more than 20 years, Fonderie Darling's team has been collaborating with its donors to create a space that reaffirms the importance of art as a vital component of a vibrant, inclusive, and solidarity-based society. Established in a former industrial site that has been transformed into a leading venue for contemporary art and culture in Montreal, now classified as part of Quebec's cultural heritage, Fonderie Darling has a history that proves it's possible to shape our urban spaces into becoming the creative organizations we dream of.
This model is truly singular and exists today because people like you believe in it.

Supporting Fonderie Darling means keeping our programming, complex operations, and architectural integrity secure. Your support means we can continue to nurture artists and bring the community together in a comfortable and professional environment.

Providing creative spaces for artists from here and elsewhere
Offering an ambitious and exploratory artistic program
Creating rich programs for cultural mediation and contemporary art education
Maintaining buildings classified as part of Quebec's cultural heritage
Affirming our commitment to sustainability and the diversity of cultural expressions
MAXIMIZE YOUR DONATION WITH THE ADDITIONAL TAX CREDIT FOR A LARGE CULTURAL DONATION
Did you know that by donating $5,000 up to $25,000, you could be eligible for an additional tax credit for a significant donation to culture?
This additional 25% credit granted by the Government of Quebec is available to Quebec residents and is in addition to provincial and federal measures for charitable donations. Combined, all these measures will allow you to claim a total tax credit of up to nearly 75% of the amount of your eligible donation. As a cultural organization recognized as a charitable organization, Quartier Éphémère can help you benefit from this tax measure.
With these measures:
Your $25,000 donation would actually cost you around $6,700
Your $5,000 donation would actually cost you around $1,400
